Meet The Team

Adam Jenkins
Director
Adam is the Director of Now Strike Archery and brings a diversity of skills to the company. Adam has had many varied careers including working for local authorities, working within the animal industry at zoos and within the outdoor sports industry where he delivered and became experienced with various outdoor pursuits.
Adam always had a passion for history and applied this when he moved away from modern archery and started shooting longbows.
Adam is proud to have built Now Strike into what it is today and says “Now Strike is so much more than a passion for shooting historic bows, we make people happy and help them create wonderful memories to cherish forever”.
Adam loves to concentrate on developing and delivering the outdoor activities to pass on his passion to others.
His hobbies include motorcycling and photography.

Greg Beere
Coordinator
Greg has been with Now Strike Archery since 2018 when he joined us for a large arrow making project.
Greg has a passion for craft which he has applied in both the bow making workshop and the metal working forge. As a former secondary school teacher he is well suited to lead on most of our craft courses in addition to the outdoor sessions while drawing the best out of his students.
Adam met Greg as part of a regular HEMA class that they both attend. It was quickly apparent that he shared a passion for history and would fit into the company well.
Greg’s hobbies include martial arts and various geek culture.

Ian Wilkins
Lead Instructor
Ian joins us with a true passion for all things historic archery. He started with us as a customer on Master Classes before learning to make bows and pick up skills in the forge.
Ian cut his teeth mostly at various historic events around the country delivering a wide range of activities on our behalf including axe throwing, artillery, warrior training etc.
Ian joins us more formally for 2023 on wards and becomes a key member of our Experience team provision.
Ian’s interests include science fiction, craft and history

Aston Vine
Instructor
Aston is another customer come employee having attended our 2020 Agincourt Experience Day. His interest in all things history immediately saw him taking on event work at historic venues.
Like Greg he also studies historic sword work at a regular HEMA class and is skilled in most of the weaponry that we offer.
Aston’s interests include historical combat, cars and having perfect hair.
