Ash Stave

Description

Make your own ash bow! Favoured amongst reenactors, these are great for learning on as they are cheaper than the laminate staves and teach you a lot about tillering your bow.

Ash stave cut from a board, can be pre-tapered on the sides. On average staves are 77″ in length and approx 1″ depth on the belly depending on desired draw weight. Heavier staves are deeper.

Shipping is priced due to the length however we can ship multiple staves for the same amount or you are welcome to collect.

Aimed at those wishing to practice their bow making skills. We can mark a template on request. These require a basic understanding of bow making and are not guaranteed to be a bow though we carefully select the wood to give you the very best chance of success, the rest is down to you.
