Full compass English longbow hand made to your specifications complete with horn nocks!

We hand select the ash from local suppliers before processing it into bow staves. Our experienced bowyers view crafting your new bow in the same way as ordering a tailored suit, it should be a personal experience resulting in a quality product which if looked after will last years.

Our ash longbows are perfect for reenactment, LARP and enthusiasts alike. Authentically shaped with hand tools to a true “D” shape and complete with a choice between buffalo horn side-nocks based on the Mary Rose example for that historic feel or more common back nocks. If you are unsure of preference then we can happily guide you to the right decision.

Specify your draw weight and length and leave the rest to us. Unsure of what you need? No problem, just give us a call or send an email.

Our bows are finished in oil and carry a simple bowyers mark as an arrow pass. A B55 served string is provided with the bow along with a stringer.

Our bows carry a 6 month warranty and are made to order. Turn around times may vary depending on the time of year so please do speak to us prior to ordering to discuss your requirements. We will also try and help should you need it at short notice though our usual turnaround is 8 weeks for a custom order.

Battle reenactment and LARP – we recommend a bow no more powerful than 35lb in draw weight. Please check your insurance, society requirements and ratings of the group’s blunts before ordering. Bows higher than 35lb are made strictly for non-living targets.
